On Friday, October 11, at 5:30 PM, the Italian Institute of Classical Studies will hold the inauguration of the academic year at its headquarters on Via Palestro 78.
On this occasion, Giovanni Nucci, columnist and author of numerous books (Ulisse. Il mare color del vino, Salani 2013; Roma. I miti e gli eroi, Feltrinelli 2007; Francesco, Rizzoli 2013; Gli dèi alle sei, l’Iliade all’ora dell’aperitivo, Bompiani 2023; Atlante delle emozioni nel mito, Il Saggiatore 2023), will deliver a Lectio Magistralis titled “The Cyclops’ Ricotta: The Awakening of Heroes in Myth and Tragedy”, followed by an aperitif.
